~ ପର୍ଶୁରାମାଷ୍ଟମୀ ~

ଏହି ପର୍ଶୁରାମାଷ୍ଟମୀ ଦିନ ଶ୍ରୀ ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପର୍ଶୁରାମେଶ୍ଵର ଦେଉଳକୁ ବିଜେ ନୀତି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥାଏ। ଏହି ଯାତ୍ରା ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶ ଯାତ୍ରା ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅନ୍ୟତମ ଯାତ୍ରା ଅଟେ। ପରଶୁରାମଙ୍କ ଇଶ୍ୱର ପର୍ଶୁରାମେଶ୍ଵର ନାମରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ସଦାଶିବ ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏଠାରେ ବିଜେ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

ତ୍ରେତୟା ଯୁଗରେ ଭୃଗୁପତି ପର୍ଶୁରାମ ଶ୍ରୀ ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଏହିଠାରେ ଉପାସନା କରିଥିଲେ। ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ବର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରି କହିଥିଲେ ଆଜିଠାରୁ ଏହି ଲିଙ୍ଗ ପର୍ଶୁରାମେଶ୍ଵର ଲିଙ୍ଗ ରୂପେ ପରିଚିତ ହେବ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଶୁରାମାଷ୍ଟମୀ ଦିନରେ ଆମେ ଏଠାକୁ ବିଜେ କରିବୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ପୂଜା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବୁ। ତେଣୁ ଏହି ଦିନର ସ୍ମୃତି ଚାରଣ ପୂର୍ବକ ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ଆଜିର ଦିନରେ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ଦେବୀ ଗୋପାଳୁଣୀ, ଦେବୀ ପାର୍ବତୀ ଓ ଶ୍ରୀ ବାସୁଦେବଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏଠାକୁ ବିଜେ କରିଥାନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଭେଟ ଉତ୍ସବ ଯିଏ ଦର୍ଶନ କରେ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ପାପ ତାପରୁ ମୁକ୍ତିଲାଭ କରିଥାଏ।

On this day Shree Tribhubaneswara Mahaprabhu comes to Parasurameswara Deula. Parasurameswara means the Lord of Parasurama.

In Treta Yuga on this place Lord Parasurama worshipped Shree Lingaraja Mahaprabhu. Mahaprabhu blesses him gave promises that on Ashadha Sulka Astami Tithi he will come every year to this place and accept Puja from him. So to remember this occassion on this Astami Tithi Shree Lingaraja Mahaprabhu comes to this please with Devi Gopaluni and Devi Parvati along with Shree Basudeva.

Those who witness this Vet utsav of Lingaraja Mahaprabhu he/she will be free from all the sins.
