~ ଚନ୍ଦନପୁରର ଶ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ କପୋତେଶ୍ଵର ~
କପୋତେଶ୍ଵରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର, ରଘୁରାଜପୁର ଯିବା ରାସ୍ତାରେ ହିଁ ଡାହାଣ ପଟରେ ପଡେ। ଶଙ୍ଖକ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିବାର ଇଛା ଆମକୁ ଟାଣି ନେଇଥିଲା, ଚନ୍ଦନପୁରରେ ବିରାଜିତ ଶ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ କପୋତେଶ୍ଵର ଦେବଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ। ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକ କୁହନ୍ତି କପ୍ତେଶ୍ଵର। ଗୋଟିଏ ବଡ଼ପୋଖରୀକୁ ଲାଗି ସୁନ୍ଦର ପରିବେଶରେ ଛୋଟିଆ ମନ୍ଦିରଟି ହେଉଛି ପ୍ରଭୁ କପୋତେଶ୍ଵରଙ୍କର। ତଳୁଆ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ବର୍ଷାଦିନେ ମନ୍ଦିର ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁ ବୁଡିରହନ୍ତି ପାଣି ଭିତରେ। ଅନ୍ୟ ସମୟରେ ସେଠାକୁ ଯାଇ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିହେବ।
We all know about Raghurajpur, the craft village. But we cross this Temple on our right while moving to reach Raghurajpur.
This temple is dedicated to Mahadeba known as Shri Kapateswara . This is the second place enlisted in in Shankhakhetra after river Bhargabi while entering Puri from this side.
The urge to visit all the places of Shankhakhetra forced us to visit this place too. Locally this temple is known as Kapteswar. Narrow road leads to this temple.
The Temple has a big pond. We could feel the positive energy. A small well, a yagnya mandapa and a roshaghara is surrounded by a courtyard. The priest of the Temple was kind enough to perform the Puja for us and discussed how the temple submerged during rainy season.
