The Santals of our unfathomed land Mayurbhanj, Odisha have inherent talents in art and crafts which is reflected in their beautiful wall paintings, housing architecture and wood works.
Their doors are decorated with colourful drawings. Inside walls are also decorated with beautiful indigenous drawings by the Santal women only.
They keep their houses always neat, clean and decorative to appease the Gods and Goddesses and get their blessings.
